Article Abstract
In this cohort of stroke patients with atrial fibrillation, anticoagulation was superior to aspirin in preventing cardioembolic but not lacunar recurrence. Determination of stroke subtype may be important in anticoagulation decisions for se condary prevention, and further studies are required.
